Thank you for choosing The Beach House at San Juan. By proceeding with a reservation and making a down payment, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Payment Terms
Down Payment
A 50% down payment is required to confirm your reservation. Your booking is only considered secured once the payment has been received and acknowledged.
Full Payment
The remaining 50% balance is due on or before your check-in date.
2. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancellations
• Cancellations 15 days or more before the booked date: down payment is refundable minus any transaction or administrative fees.
• Cancellations less than 15 days before the booked date: the down payment becomes non-refundable.
No-Show
• Guests who do not arrive on the scheduled date without prior notice will forfeit the down payment. No refunds will be provided.
3. Terms of Agreement
By submitting a down payment, you (the “Guest”) acknowledge and accept the following terms:
3.1 Compliance with Property Rules
Guests must comply with all property rules and safety guidelines, including those provided upon booking and on-site during check-in. This includes, but is not limited to, responsible pool use and proper supervision of minors.
3.2 Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Guests acknowledge that the use of facilities involves inherent risks. By staying at the property, guests agree to assume full responsibility for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred, and release the owners and staff from any resulting liability.
3.3 Responsibility for Damages
Guests will be held responsible for any property damage or loss to non-complimentary items during their stay. Reimbursements must be settled prior to check-out upon request.
3.4 Legal Binding Agreement
This agreement is legally binding once the down payment is made. No physical signature is required. Payment constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
4. Additional Terms for Event Bookings
4.1 Third-Party Suppliers
Guests are fully responsible for the behavior and actions of their third-party suppliers (e.g., caterers, decorators, photographers). Any damage, delay, or disturbance caused by these suppliers will be the financial and legal responsibility of the guest.
4.2 Ingress & Egress
All event packages include a 2-hour ingress for setup and a 2-hour egress for pack-down. Additional time beyond this allowance will incur standard hourly charges.
5. Reservation Priority & Pencil Bookings
If no 50% down payment has been received, a reservation will only be considered a pencil booking. In the event another client confirms the same date with a down payment, that booking will take priority, and the pencil booking will automatically be released.
